XPontus XML Editor 1.0.0.1 (Default branch)

XPontus is a Java-based XML editor designed for text editing. It aims to provide a free alternative to commercial XML editors. It has been reported to run correctly on Linux, Windows, Mac OS X, Solaris, and FreeBSD. There are many installers for platform convenience. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes:
This release is an entire rewrite of the software, which now uses a plugin architecture. Code completion (XML, HTML, and XSL) has been added. A few bugs from previous releases have been fixed, and some user suggestions implemented. The code structure of HTML/XML documents has changed. XPath support has been added. HTML documentation generation from XML schemas and DTDs has been implemented. This release will be able to use file system abstraction, which means that an FTP file and a local file will be look all the same to the application.
