BG-Rescue Linux 0.9.0 (Default branch)

BG-Rescue Linux is a Busybox and uClibc-basedrescue system with kernel 2.4.26 which supportsthe NTFS 2.1.6b driver. It is loaded either fromtwo floppy disks or from one 2.8MB El Torito CD.The system runs entirely in RAM. It supports awide range of hardware and filesystems, and canserve as a full backup/restore system for MSWindows systems that use FAT12, FAT16, or FAT32. It also includes bzip2, cabextract, cmdftp,cramfs, dosfstools, e2fsprogs, gpart, lilo,loadlin, lphdisk, mdadm, ms-sys, ntfsprogs,pcmcia-cardmgr, progsreiserfs, reiserfsck,smbclient, syslinux, umsdos-utils, and zip. Thereis support for automatically loading the F-Protantivirus program from CD-ROM.License: Freely DistributableChanges:
This release updates the whole system and all integrated programs to recent versions, and adds things like full NTFS write support (using FUSE 2.7.2 and ntfsprogs 2.0.0), lzma compressed initrd as a ramdisk, limited DVD+RW write support, and more. Support has been added for F-Prot 6.x. Support for the following network devices has been added: Intel(R) PRO/1000, Realtek 8169, and Silan SC92031 / RealTek RTL-8139 D. Support has been added for most of the serial ATA devices supportes by Linux kernel 2.4. XFS filesystem support has been added.
