Das Schaefchen is a lightweight HTTP server andproxy for Unix platforms. It supports the minimumrequirements of the HTTP/1.1 protocol and virtualhosts, basic authentication (which can be used toprotect either files or directories), directorylisting, byte ranges, and reverse proxy. It is anevent-driven server that runs as a single processwith a single thread using non-blocking I/O.
