OpenLink Virtuoso is a scalable, high-performance SQL-200n compliant object-relational database engine. It provide sophisticated database management for SQL, XML, and RDF. This release includes the addition of LUBM benchmarks for RDF data managers to the test suite, a check for backup/restore status, and optimizations to bitmap indexes. In the RDF/SPARQL field, there is support for xsl:float, new Sponger cartridges for SVG, XBRL, and HR-XML documents, URL rewrite rules for XBRL, and optimizations to the SPARQL engine.
