
JSummer is a tool to compute and check MD5, SHA-160, and SHA-256 message digest. There are console and GUI (SWT) versions. It contains a console tool compatible with the
GNU md5sum and sha1sum, and a graphical interface. For Windows, there is an installer, an *.exe wrapper for the Java version, and file menu entries. It features calculation of MD5, SHA160, and SHA256 message digest, recursion of directories, and checking of MD5, SHA160, and SHA256 message digest.

JAppRun has been replaced by launch4j. The Win32 installer has been fixed and optimized. Debian build problems for Java were fixed. Native building on Debian was disabled. A platform-independent EOL marker is used in checkfiles, which should make the checkfiles OS independent. The GUI statusbar layout has been fixed. Windows installers now include the SWT 3.3.1.1.
