Kernel Mode Linux 2.6.24_001 (For Linux 2.6 branch)

Kernel Mode Linux is a technology which enablesthe execution of user programs in a kernel mode.In Kernel Mode Linux, user programs can accesskernel address space directly. Unlike kernelmodules, user programs are executed as ordinaryprocesses (except for their privilege level), soscheduling and paging are performed as usual.Although it seems dangerous, the safety of thekernel can be ensured through such methods asstatic type checking, software fault isolation, and so forth.License: GNU General Public License (GPL)Changes:
This release has been merged with the 2.6.24 Linuxkernel.
