BlockHosts is a script to record how many times alocal system is attacked, based on configurablescanning of system logs for sshd or otherservices. When a particular IP address exceeds aconfigured number of failed login attempts, thatIP address is blocked using hosts.allow files, orby using null-routing, or by using packetfiltering.
