Fedora Directory Server 1.1.0 (Default branch)

Fedora Directory Server is a full-featured LDAPv3compliant server. In addition to the standardLDAPv3 operations, it supports multi-masterreplication, fully online configuration andadministration, chaining, virtual attributes, access control directives in the data, VirtualList View, server-side sorting, SASL, TLS/SSL, andmany other features. The transactional Berkeley DB4.2 is used as its data store and a full plug-inAPI allows developers to extend the thefunctionality of the server in many ways, and manyof the core features of the server are already implementedusing this API. The server is very mature, havingstarted out as Netscape Directory Server.License: GNU General Public License v2Changes:
Fedora Directory Server 1.1 has been split into discrete yum packages. Most of the packages are in Fedora or will be shortly. Installation is now done easily with yum. Filesystem Hierarchy Standard paths are now used instead of the /opt filesystem, for tighter OS integration. Many bugfixes have been made.
