Got it.
Solution is if echo "$word" | grep −q "$letter_sequence" It was there in the Advanced Bash scripting guide. It can be found at http://www.tldp.org/LDP/abs/abs-guide.pdf Thanks Perderabo Thanks zazzybob. Vino |
