Find command

In a shell script, i am executing find command, and i want to execute search from the root directory of my login.
how can i do so?
Is there a way i can run the search based on my loginid so if i am logged in as user1 then it searches from root 1 and if i am logged in as user2, then it searches root 2?

find . -type f ??
