How to remove "New line characters" and "spaces" at a time

Dear friends, following is the output of a script from which I want to remove spaces and new-line characters.

Example:-
Line1 abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
Line2 mnopqrstuvwxyzabcdefghijkl
Line3 opqrstuvwxyzabcdefdefg

Here in above example, at every starting line there is a “tab” & "line1, line2" and so on and at the end of the string it has new line character. I want to remove it.

What I want is:-
abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzmnopqrstuvwxyzabcdefghijklopqrstuvwxyzabcdefdefg

Please help me friends.
Waiting for reply.

although I'm sure someone will come along with something far more elegant...

Code:
cat unix |awk '{print $2}'|tr -d "\n";echo \n
