please tell us how to use the "cut" for below
adm@xs> grep -i adding mp* | grep -iv equation |grep ELSA.PG | tail -1
mport040408040954.log:@@@@@@@@ 04:10:40 Adding: ELSA.PG. adm@xs> in the above after running grep command i got as above.. i want to use the cut in that and extract only "mport040408040954.log" in the output and assign to some scalar variable "lg" can u please assist me in that ? |
