Export a HTML table to Xcel

Hello All,

I have a perl script that prints a HMTL table. I want to convert this data into a report and this want to export this information into Excel. How can I do this?

I guess the HTML files can be opened in Excel.If you couldn't then please try renaming to .xls extension and open with Excel.

Its not really a HTML file. Its a web page which displays a table for viewing. I want to add a button that will export the view only table into a Xcel sheet.
