i have to write a script that which would send mails

You did not inform us what operating system you what this to happen on, so I cannot give you specific help.
The general answer is that you need to turn on process accounting. |

For all the transient apps running in ibm aix 1. How many apps are running 2. Since when is the app running( i,e their date ) that is my server is ddcapedn04.tu.com i just wrote #!/bin/ksh echo "welcome to the transient script" pj mail -s "ouptup" naveed.aliershad@capgemini.com << EOM ------------------------------------------------------------------ but dnt knw wat to do after that |
