sending mail error.. help
help i get this error when i sending a mail
send-mail: fatal: open /etc/postfix/main.cf: No such file or directory Can't send mail: sendmail process failed this is my coding echo "$PRONAME is being restart" | mailxs "Subject:Process" "sally@$THISHOST" i wish to send this mail to my another user... so need helop! |

There are some variants : postfix is not installed properly, the "main.cf" file has been deleted, or your have no rights to use it . Is this attempt made from non-root user ? Is there a number for this error code ? Do you have rights to look at the logs ? What is the OS ? Do you have SELinux enabled ?
