cron help

below excution.. when run directly from console.. works.. (through script name).. but when i run from cron.. i get below... why?

I have auto ssh into server enabled via authorization key..

Is there way for me to run as me? for cron or??

[ output from cron.. executing the script.. that was mail to me ]
+ rm -rf /tmp/something
+ date +%H
current=23
+ ssh server01 tail -1 /xxx/xxx
/home/user/filename: ssh: execute permission denied

this is how i have it in my script

o=`ssh user@$host tail -1 /xxx/xxxx`

execute permission

your script lacks execute permission. just give it execute permission and it should run fine from cron also.

in my script.. this is just part of it.. what do u mean by I need to give a excute permission??

for host in hosta hostb hostc hostd

o=`ssh user@$host tail -1 /xxx/xxxx`
result=`echo $o | egrep -i "parttern b"`
