another way you can change desired shell if you have root permissions

Edit the /etc/passwd file
Just navigate your user accout in /etc/passwd file ( i took skanth user for ex.)

skanth:x:502:502::/home/anupl:/bin/bash

just change bash with csh or ksh ...etc..
