|
sendmail, especially on a sun box, is the MTA. Configuration files are in /etc/mail. The build files are in /usr/lib/sendmail I think. I don't have a box handy to verify it though.
When you use mail or mailx to send a message, it's sent out via sendmail. If sendmail is running as a server, then it's the incoming e-mail server as well. Carl |
