Hi All,
In my work environment, our workis to run N number of SQL statements continously.. Actually we are in testing environment. And for this we write 100 of SQL's and execute each one after another at Windows SQL prompt. Some of the SQL's will be running for about 12 hrs also. Now I wrote a Shell script to execute them continously if we provide the directory where these SQL statements are present as a parameter. ANd this is working fine. I had even worked out a directory structure for this. Now I want to propose the idea of making all the users use Unix rather than Windows. But no one is used to Unix. SO before I make this proposal I want some one of you to help me out in giving what will be the advantages in using unix environment in place of Windows Environment. Hoping to recv Good response Thanks in Advance CheChe |
