cron task not working
This command works from the command line but as a cron task it won't do the "ifconfig" part.
Code:
echo `date "+20%y-%m-%d% %H:%M:%S"` `ifconfig en0 | grep "inet " | awk '{print $2}'` >> /tmp/mysqlip.txt
If I put it in root's crontab it doesn't do anything. Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated. - James Last edited by cassj; 08-05-2004 at 03:18 PM.. |
