How to export a unix file to txt file?

Is there any way by which u can export a file in unix box to a notepad or txt file?

you can rename the file with .txt extension

mv file file.txt

Not sure what you mean by export but you can always use FTP!

You can also copy paste from the UNIX text file to notepad/wordpad if the file is not large.

There's always:
Code:
unix2dos filename filename.txt
Then use winscp to copy it to your Wintel box
