How to exclude top level directory with find?
I'm using bash on cygwin/windows.

I'm trying to use find and exclude the directory /cygdrive/c/System\ Volume\ Information. When I try to use the command below I get the error "rm: cannot remove `/cygdrive/c/System Volume Information': Is a directory.

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

/usr/bin/find /cygdrive/c \( -iname plcmobject.dll -o -iname plcmutility.dll -o -wholename /cygdrive/c/System\ Volume\ Information -prune \) -exec rm -f {} \; -print

as error saying, "rm -f" can't remove a directory, so you need to use "rm -rf", but be careful with "rm -rf", it's a dangerous command.

But I don't want to remove that directory
I only want to delete files and not directories. How do I tell find to not traverse a certain top level directory? I've used prune before with file names but never with a top level directory.
