How to find the list of files

How to find the list of files of particular type present in Directory and sub-directory.

To find files in a directory and sub-directories, you can use the
"find" command.
What do you mean by "list of files of particular type"?

find ./ | xargs file | awk -F":" ' /ascii text/ { sub("^.*/",""); print $1 } '

Replace "ascii text" by the type of file you require
