Help with Uniq and sort

The key is first field i want only uniq record for the first field in file.

Quote:
FileA
ABC,hello,world
ABC,hello,america
XYZ,god,bless
INJ,are,youthere

I want the output as
Quote:
ABC,hello,america
XYZ,god,bless
INJ,are,youthere
or output as
Quote:
ABC,hello,world
XYZ,god,bless
INJ,are,youthere
Appreciate help on this

one way:

awk -F,  '!arr[$0]++' inputfile > outputfile

or

sort -t "," -k 1,1 -u file
