VPN Security

Hello Gurus :

I had a question about VPN connection . Say for instance i have to connect from my point A to point B (Is the place where i initiate the VPN connection ) . From there i connect to point C (i.e Bank) .

My question is this a secure connection . (from point A to C)

Thanks

No.
It is only a secure connection from B to C. (That's assuming that your VPN is secure!).

Hard (for me) to guess how you might do this type of connection without getting cut off when you start the VPN at B.
VNC A to B, then VPN B to C ? Needs some sort of split-tunnelling or two LAN connections. ... or a dumb terminal and two modems?

Thanks for the reply !

From Home point (A) . I use the VPN client to connect to the Co-location Point (B). From there i connect to the Financial Institution Point (C).

I was been told that if a some kinda card is available which can be inserted into the PC where i login . My whole transaction from Point A to Point is Secure .

Thanks
Buzz

That depends entirely on the connection between the co-location and the financial institution, then. The VPN between A and B doesn't make it more secure.
