Linksys router question

Hi

I have very basic network settings in my home. Cable connected to my Linksys Wireless G router. My wife and I connect to that using our laptop.
Yes. I did enable encryption to connect. Also my wireless printer is connected to that.

For some reason, last night around 12:30 AM, the printer acted like it was going to print. Then it didn't print any thing. Again it did that one hour later.

My question, is it possible some one hacked into my Linksys router? The wireless printer never did that before?

Thanks.

I have seen many printers that where not mine on my WiFi devices. They sometimes show up as a network when your device is scanning for a access point. I would look and see if your printer shows up in this way. People might be connecting to it by accident.
