Solaris I/O Error

Solaris I/O Error
When i trying to open any exising floder iam unable to open it.It is showing the following error .
Can anyone help me out of this

What error exactly ( copy and paste here no sufficient information ) you get and what user ID you are using root or non root.
do you see the output of command like

$du -sh /filesystem

more details are required

Actually when we ls a floder we are able to see the floder Tools, when we try to open it is showing the follwoing error:
# pwd
/vobs
# ls
Deliveries TSC WI_DEV cvt_data gps pcsoft
Docs TSC_FW admin_bsc dls lmtct wi_report
Documents TSC_SW bsc_tools elite ne wi_ship
MTOS Tools common g2bsc nma
# cd Tools
bash: cd: Tools: I/O error
#
Iam in root

How is the health of your disks?

Can you open everything else.....or is it just your Tools directory?
