there isn't any unallocated space.
slice 7 seems to be unmounted, it is 71232 sectors large.
slice 6 is empty, size about 40G, contains only 'lost+found'.

I think 64bit sparc solaris still can't be emulated. But you could run 32bit sparc Solaris 9 in Qemu.
Have a look at "Artyom Tarasenko's blog".

/dev/md/2 has been mounted in /data. um, why don't you just use /data for storage instead of /gserver ? /gserver is folder on 'root' partition, you shouldn't ever fill that one completely.

no, I only installed 32bit Solaris9 sparc in qemu, using Artyom blog.

I'd thought he managed to make 64bit work by now.

we have similar one running over 70C for months now, IIRC. we've been replacing fans with plain 2 wire ones. originals are expensive. perhaps cleaning and lubricating would be a temporary fix.

ATM, not sure if perl is installed, and whether it has: 'use Socket; use Getopt::Std;'
I don't need portable solution. Its just for one specific PC and SPARC. packet can be 'crafted' on Linux.
