I googled for "tcpdump view HOST http headers" -- that fine

However can we do same for HTTPS like after the HTTPS gets decrypted by Apache ?

I think this is legitimate on the server...

hello all,

on linux servers sometimes any of these resources (cpu,memory,disk) get a spike when you are not in front of the server.

the duration of these spikes might be 5 mins or even whole...

I did some investigation before posting.

i noticed that during the time when the httpd consumed 100% memory, only few swap was used.

i got a link on StackOverflow that says its normal...

For my backup , I mount and external hard disk to /mnt/mybackup and then I do an rsync to /mnt/mybackup

If for some reason the rsync fails, I want to prevent it from writing data on the server...
