"ap prints only first 50 lines after yanking

If i type

and if i open a new fine and do:

(not in command mode)

what i get is only 50 lines

and unix says

do u know whats going on here??

in my VI editor for GNOME Terminal 2.6.0

works fine.

Any shorter way???

Is there no other way as with yyX i would have to know the number of lines in advance (though its not a problem) but still if there is shorter way please point it out.
