Sco Unixware 7.1.3 hangs in installation during loading of IDE

Hello, i'm mostly a linux person, so I have some experience in unix. I don't even know where to start with unixware though. I boot, anwser a couple questions in the installer, and when it comes to detecting and loading the drivers, it hangs as 90% when loading "IDE". I press crtl-alt-esc and it looks like it detected everything, it just seems to hang. How can i fix this? I have a Maxtor 120 gig hd, and also some sata hd which i don't use. i don't know if thats the problem.

It may be, SCO had in 5.07 maint pack 1 an update of the wd driver. The wd driver is the IDE driver.

I would try loading SCO on a smaller drive and see if that works.

You might want to check the SCO site for any updates.
