i hav already changed the scsi hard disk, hardware raid card, ram, scsi cd drive.. but it's still not working.........

Consider upgrading.
Either replace the motherboard, cpu, memory and power supply in the original case, or move the RAID controller and disks to a new bare bones system.
SCO 5.0.6 (install all the patches) will run on a P4 system, and will install with a 5.0.5 license.

it's not showing error..

but it's standing on the line

G hd_config

after getting tis line sco unix 5.0.5 is not installing..

there are 2 scsi cards one is AIC-7880
another one is mylex corporation DAC960

if i remove the mylex scsi card also same message is displaying..

Changed disk controller -> drops into GRUB?!

I changed disk controller. Unplugged every disk, inserted another controller card, an IBM M1015. The disks are recognized in BIOS, and the controller card's BIOS shows up.
