In this case, "observed" means by an announcement. If the data was recorded on Day 1 and not announced until Day 60, then the effective date of "observation" is Day 60, for our purposes. OBTW, when searching the net, I found a similar "prediction for the higgs boson" on one of the commercial (for money) trade markets (Intrade, as I recall). |
