1.1.4 SILC (servidor filial)
SILC (Secure Internet Live Conferencing) é um protocolo que prevê seguro conferência de serviços na Internet. Ela pode ser usada para enviar qualquer tipo de mensagens, além de mensagens de texto normais. Isto inclui as mensagens multimédia como imagens, vídeo e áudio. Todas as mensagens na rede SILC são encriptadas e autenticadas, e mensagens também podem ser assinados digitalmente. SILC protocolo suporta AES, SHA-1, PKCS # 1, PKCS # 3, X.509, OpenPGP, e está sendo desenvolvida no IETF. O software é fornecido como SILC Client para usuários finais, SILC Server para administradores de sistema, e SILC Toolkit para aplicação desenvolvedores.
