Seeking XAML library of Solaris CDE styles and/ or widgets for .Net/WPF project
Don't laugh, I am going to replicate the exact look and feel of the Solaris 8 GUI, the Motif-based CDE of Solaris 8, using Windows .Net, C#, and WPF.

I am looking for any kind of jump start in terms of library, free or licensable:

Has anyone every come across a library of assets and/or XAML styling and/or complete widget library for WPF for Motif / X-Motif / CDE / Solaris 8, 9 or 10?

I promise I already Googled the heck out of this, and searched these forums in vain.

Thanks for *any* tips, pointers, links.

I seriously doubt if such a library exists.

CDE in Solaris

I was wondering, if I boot up a Solaris box and the CDE does not come up by default when I log in, does that mean that the box has a GUI at all? If that is the case, where can I download CDE from? I am accustomed to RedHat and Windows, so unfortunately Solaris throws me off a little bit. (1 Reply)
