We have not seen a lot of Irix traffic here. With SGI currently in financial trouble, this might be be the best time to start an Irix forum. Of the flavored forums, the first four, Solaris, Linix, HP-UX, and AIX are doing fairly well. The SCO forum is having less success. And the final two, BSD and OS X are not doing very well at all. We don't want to add too many forums, the clutter can make the site harder to use. But if there is a strong indication of interest in an Irix forum, we would consider it. So how about it folks, how much interest is there in an Irix forum?

I don't have a strong opinion either way. Just a point I thought of. Maybe the fact we don't get many Irix questions is because there isn't a forum for them. Maybe if one was created there would be some traffic.

Any chance of creating it, letting it run for a defined time (3 months maybe?), then closing it if there isn't enough traffic to warrant a main-page link for it any more?
