One Humble request to MODERATORS

Hi,

I'm really enjoying the compnay of you GURU's and the environment you have created here in these forums, is great.

But I was just wondering, if its possible to spare beginner level questions for the beginner and medium level users to answer, so that way, they can learn from it and get encouraged. I think many beginners will support my opinion because they want to learn too, and its the most easy way to learn when you are helping others, solving their problems and you gain great deal of confidence. So again, judgement would be required by the moderators and other experts to spare beginner level questions for the beginners and medium level users to answer.

Thanks in Advance for any replies.

Best Regards,
Tayyab

I actually bypass many questions because I feel that a lot of people can answer them. And you're right...the person who answers a question often benefits as much as the person who asked it. But I'm not going to ask anyone to throttle down their rate of answering questions. We want to be a source of answers, not a source of questions. The way to see more unanswered questions is to logon frequently during the day. We have a lot of people who can answer the easier questions and so the easier questions will not tend to sit around for hours. But, on the other hand, some of them do fall though the cracks and these will not show up on a "new posts" search. I just opened the advanced search page, and searched all forums for threads posted in the past two weeks with at most 0 replies. I am now looking at three pages of questions. And, yes, a few of these look rather easy.

Maybe I will append a note here to what Perderabo has mentioned.

Many questions may carry more than one possible answer. Even if a question has been answered by somebody, you may still have another answer in mind to that question. Just post it, so that everybody can learn from the different approaches taken, compare and contrast the various suggestions to find out the one which best suits the occasion (it may not suit well to the original question but may turn out to be optimal in another similar case). That's exactly what a platform for "information exchange" should be.

So as you, we moderators (I, at least) are not gurus or experts in everything, so we also need to inquire and learn from everybody here, so do not feel deterred by the moderators' hats --- we are just regular posters as you are who happen to take on an extra role here.
