Unix Familiarisation Training

As a civilian Admin clerk with a government dept I have been asked to locate a training firm who provides Unix familiarisation training - this request has come from a dept which includes Air Traffic Controller & Radio Technicians.

I am not personally familiar with Unix and have been unable to find anyone else in my immediate area who is either.

Can anyone assist me with a firm name & contact details - if physically possible by cob today!

Many thanks. The training would preferably be in the Sydney area but if not possible then please provide interstate venues also.

Heather

I have taken Sun training courses before, and know they offer one called "Essentials of Unix" or something similar to that. It may be what you are looking for. They have a worldwide presence, so you could probably find a training center near Sydney. I'd suggest going to www.sun.com and checking their training/education link to see what options they offer in your area.
