Reply to thread I started 8 May 09 gone
And frankly, I'm a bit miffed by it.
I had thanked the person who suggested a solution to the issue, pasted code to a shell script that may have helped other users, and was courteous, witty and all that the best forum admins look for in a member/contributor/poster. Now it's gone, with no explanation. The last post was the one the person replying to my thread starter made. Here's the link: 'who' command -- getting data returned into variables (in bash) I didn't reply via QuickReply, and I'm almost positive my reply was not in the form of a private message. Please let me know what possibly could have happened. Thank you for giving this attention. BZT |

FWIW - I do not see a deleted thread or response. There is another semi-related thread about who, but I do not see any deletions there either.
And I'm a moderator. So I could see them - if any posts were there and deleted. Dunno if that helps. Plus, if you did something against the Forum rules, you would have seen a response from one of us mods. In short, try again ![]() |
