Understanding Genius for iPod and iPhone
Genius is an exciting new feature for iPod, iPhone, and iTunes which makes playlists from songs in your iTunes library that go great together. Genius playlists saved in iTunes can be synced to any iPod or iPhone, however creating and editing Genius playlists is available on these devices: iPod touch* iPod touch (2nd generation) iPhone* iPhone 3G* iPhone 3GS iPod nano (4th generation) iPod classic (120 GB)Before you can use Genius on your device, you must set up Genius in iTunes 8.
