DVD Player: "This disc is intended for play on non-modified Region 1 players" repeate

DVD Player in Mac OS X may repeatedly state "This disc is intended for play on non-modified Region 1 players" after you insert a Region 1 DVD, even if you have already specifed Region 1 in DVD Player. This may occur when using a Region 1 disc after another region (2, 3, 4, 5, or 6) was previously selected as the default in DVD Player.
