NAME
btmaketorrentgui -- GUI program to generate torrent meta-info files for use with bittorrent SYNOPSIS
btmaketorrentgui DESCRIPTION
This manual page documents briefly the btmaketorrentgui command. This manual page was written for the Debian distribution because the original program does not have a manual page. btmaketorrentgui is a GUI interface to btmakemetafile, it generates the torrent info files that are distributed to bittorrent clients (usu- ally over http) to inform them of where the designated tracker for the torrent is located, and to enable them to verify the file's con- tents. btmaketorrentgui does not require arguments like btmakemetafile does, instead everything is done in the GUI interface. The first box in the GUI is the file or directory that the torrent info file will be generated for, the second is the "announce" address of the tracker (ex. http://my.tracker:6969/announce). The third box is for an optional list of announces, separated by commas or whitespace and on several lines. You can also optionally set the piece size and a comment. SEE ALSO
