This malicious JavaScript may be downloaded from a remote site(s). It may be hosted on a Web site and run when a user accesses the said Web site.
It exploits a known vulnerability to download a malicious file. More information on the said vulnerability can be found here. After exploiting the said vulnerability, it access a certain Web site to download a file that is detected by Trend Micro as TROJ_QQHELPER.LA. It then executes the downloaded file(s). As a result, malicious routines of the downloaded files are exhibited on the affected system. More... |
