Which Server to host a website?

Hiii Guys ................
I am looking to host a website which is programmed in Asp.
I am not sure about which server should i host it?
Should i host it on Linux or Unix and why?
Need your advice..............

It depends on your application requirements and application capability. Linux / Unix are just platform for you to choose.

If your looking for a 99.99 percent uptime then host your apps in a Linux / Unix enviroment( This will be true if your apps is ready for that kind of setup it may vary. The platform also depends on how your application behaves.)

I host my servers at fastq.com, they have windows and linux server account available.

If your site is programmed in ASP then you probabally want a Windows Account, even though I have heard that you can now run ASP on linux, but I dont know why you would.

If you call fastq.com tell them Kyle referred you and talk to Bob.
