Red Hat linux(Advance server) problem

we are receiving following error in our application server & server not booted:-

"INIT IP ID x ,Respawning too fast; disable for 5 minutes."

Please give me solution for above mention problem as early as possible .

Check the video settings. Also try a different resolution
run XF86Setup or type xrandr -s 1024x768

server booting problem

My application server not booted because of the previous mentioned error,
So tell me where I will Type your above command.
Please give me your valueable suggestion as early as possible,beacause its urgent for me...........

akm9999,

Can you start your server in a single mode setup? If yes run in single mode (init 1) and check your inittab. or based on techlinux suggestion maybe the video settings to isolate that start your server in init 3 mode.
