I am not able to login the server
Dear All,
When ever I am login the linux server it is asking the current unix password. I am giving the current password. After that that session disappeard. Even I tried from console login with root password also, I am not able to login the server. What can I do? Anybodies having any idea? Please it is very urgent. Thanks in Advance Sivam. |

pernasivam,
Thats good if its only a test server. run the system in single user mode (init 1). You need to reboot your box and from the LILO or GRUB boot you press the E ( Edit) and add the on kernel parameters init 1 and try to see if you have having problem with disk space / memory. Or you can just remove some necessary services running. |
