postfix

hi

when I telnet to my machine on port 25 and send an email to myself, the machine sends the email to the old corporate mail server instead of the new corporate mail server.

how to change that so that any email sent from my linux box goes directly to the new mail server?

thx

Sounds like un-updated DNS or MX record, do you have root access to the mail server or the machine. What is the network topology - the mail server resides where, you telnet where, where's the SMTP, mimedefang implemented for example ? Please be more detailed.

Might also simply be that you need to update the relayhost (IIRC) in main.cf
