how to install rsh in linux boxes

Hi All,

Please help me how to install and configure rsh in Linux boxes and let me know where i get this software.

rsh, rcmd, rexec, rcp are a family that you really already have as cvs depends on them.

Configuring is a matter of setting up /etc/.rhosts or $HOME/.rhosts but I would strongly recommend using openssh unless you have no other option.

What distribution are you using?

how to install rsh in linux boxes

Thanks for your reply.

I am using Fedora, actually i dont know much about rsh what it do also i dont know. But i want to learn about the rsh and how to configure this one.

Please if you have any docs about rsh and ssh. please provide me.

If you have a choice then go with openssh like Porter suggested. just google "ssh tutorial" and you will find many links. avoid rsh and other r* commands like the plague.
