error : kernel panic: No init found

helo,
my system is runing on redhat 9.0.
but now when i run my machine i got the following error.

Kernel Panic:No init found.
try passing init = option to kernel.
i dont have any idea about linux administration.
can u help me to solve this error

Sounds like it failed to mount your root partition.

As always, ask yourself "What has changed?"/"What have I changed?"/"What was I thinking at 3am in the morning when I last shut the machine down?"
