fedora core 6 problem

hi all

i am currently using fedora core 3 . i downloaded the iso image of fedora core 6 but after installing the fedora core 6 . while starting linux it gives a error saying init is been killed .

wht is happened?

Can you please post the full text of the error message? Also, at what point of the boot process does init die? Does init survive long enough for a single user mode boot?

hi
fedora core 6 problem

there is no other error . as soon the init processes is started which is diplayed on screen .. the message killing init processes will come. and the goes off.

Can you copy the 30 lines or so of text before the error message. It sounds like the kernel panicked, but we will not be able to determine what is causing it without seeing what the system was trying to do before the panic.
